We’re thrilled to announce that College & Ossington Dental Office now accepts the Canadian Dental Care Program (CDCP)! This fantastic government-funded program provides eligible Canadians with access to essential oral health care services.

Who is eligible?  Canadian residents who have a family net income below $90,000 and do not have access to dental insurance qualify for CDCP. Currently it is open to seniors. Children under 18 and those with disabilities will be able to apply in June 2024 and all remaining Canadians in 2025.

How To Apply?  You can apply for the program either online on website (Canadian Dental Care Plan – Apply – Canada.ca) or by calling them at 1-833-537-4342, select option number 2.

What are the services covered?

  • Dental Examination (Check-Up) & X-Rays
  • Cleaning, fluoride, and polishing
  • Repairing cavities and broken teeth
  • Root Canal Therapy
  • Repair of Dentures
  • Fabrication of New Complete Denture
  • Fabrication of Partial Denture (from November 2024)

Here’s some important information about the CDCP program: The CDCP offers coverage at specified rates for certain eligible dental services, with coverage based on annual income. The program follows its own fee guide, which differs from the ODA fee guide that we typically use. For patients who qualify for 100% coverage under the CDCP fee guide, we will waive the difference between the two fee guides, which is approximately 20%.

We believe that access to quality dental care should be hassle free and affordable to everyone.
